This site is dedicated to the horse, equine dentistry and to you people out there who deal with horses on a regular basis, whether you are a trainer, a veterinarian, an owner or just the occasional rider. It will hopefully be a valuable resource of information and articles from the area of horse dentistry.

Horse dentistry is about 3 main things. It is about Animal Welfare, it is about Safety and it is about Money. Having a happy horse and a happy relationship with your horse in a safe way is what it is all about. For some this means a loyal companion and friend, for others purse money and good results in competitions.

Unfortunately for the horse, equine dentistry hasn't really been discovered yet by the educational organs in different countries, hopefully this is about to change. In the meantime there are a few very devoted and knowledgeable people out there already (dr Jack Easley, dr Leon Schrutchfeld, dr Gordon Baker and dr Paddy Dixon to mention a few) who spend a lot of their time and energy all over the world, educating and being an inspiration to the rest of us.

Prevention of all disease is better than treatment, so by getting knowledge about horses and horse health, and making sure you do what is best for your horse, you will be able to avoid a lot of unneccessary problems and suffering.
